A quick note. Just in case you didn't see it, yesterday I had a guest essay posted by the lovely Amanda Bensen, an editor of Smithsonian Magazine and food science blogger at the blog Food and Think. She prompted readers to write about manners, and I wrote about my lack of manners and clumsy nature, even though my mother tried very hard for me to behave.
